Debi Jenkins Frankle, LMFT

I'm Debi Jenkins Frankle and I'm a loss and grief expert. I've been in private practice since 1995, specializing in grief. I was in the process of finishing my master's degree to become a therapist, when my mom died. I was devastated. I thought I just needed to go through all the "stages of grief" and I'd be okay...that's what my own therapist told me. But I started seeing grief more clearly as the underlying pain when clients seek our help.
I have seen in my own practice, as well as providing trainings to grief counselors throughout North America, that when we address and help our clients address the unresolved grief, that it significantly relieves the depression and anxiety that they have been paralyzed with. Being equipped with the tools to work with clients who have experienced loss in a way that is successful has allowed me to:

  • Have a consistently full practice that is private pay, without relying on insurance panels to fill my caseload.
  • Enjoy and feel a sense of gratitude for the work I do so that it's NOT DRAINING.
  • Experience major transformation in my clients and see tangible results of the process.

Katie Vernoy is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, coach, and consultant. As a helping professional for two decades, she’s navigated the ups and downs of our unique line of work. She’s run her own solo therapy practice, designed innovative clinical programs, built and managed large, thriving teams of service providers, and consulted hundreds of helping professionals on how to build meaningful AND sustainable practices. In her spare time, Katie is secretly siphoning off Curt’s youthful energy, so that she can take over the world. Learn more about Katie at www.katievernoy.com.
